Founded by people who break into a sweat at the thought of meeting other humans, Dork Matter exists to help intelligent, curious, and overthinking people express themselves and connect through shared humor, curiosity, and obscure references.

We channel our social anxiety into glorious cotton-based sarcasm. Every shirt is a fabric-based cry for help — stylish, comfortable, and unlikely to solve any of your actual problems. But hey, you’ll look great while spiraling.

Meet the Founder

Dork Matter was founded by Artur Pachota — a graphic designer from Poland who once seriously considered a career in science.

Unfortunately, that plan collided with a small but significant obstacle: the amount of studying required. Faced with years of textbooks and exams, Artur bravely chose the path of slightly less academic resistance.

Years later, Dork Matter exists partly as a way to make peace with that decision.

Instead of writing research papers, Artur now turns scientific jokes, bad puns, and mild existential confusion into t-shirt designs for fellow nerds, dorks, and people who read Wikipedia articles about black holes for fun.

Running an international t-shirt brand from Poland is also proof that globalization isn’t all bad — sometimes it just means your questionable science humor can travel much farther than expected.
